CCA Swimmers Earn Several Sierra Nevada Swimming Honors!

 2009 Male Swimmer of the Year

 Evan Virtue was named the Sierra Nevada Swimming 2009 Male Swimmer of the Year. This is the second consecutive year Evan has been chosen to receive this award.  Evan had an exceptional year; being named to the National Youth Team, already posting two Olympic Trial  Cuts for 2012, and setting six new Sierra Nevada records.  Congratulations Evan!

                  National Age Group Top 10

Evan Virtue, Adam Jorgensen and Brian Westlake were all honored for their outstanding performances of 2009 at the Sierra Nevada Swimming Awards Banquet. Seventeen year old Evan had six events where he posted a National Top 10 time. Sixteen year old Adam had five events where he posted a National Top 10 Time. Sixteen  year old Brian  posted one National Top 10 time.  Congratulations on your great swims!

Sierra Nevada Swimming Top 3

 Evan Virtue, Whitney Jorgensen, Adam Jorgensen, Brian Westlake, Brian Berger, Alyssa Penney, and Katie Stover were all named Sierra Nevada Swimming Top 3 Age Group Swimmers based on their performances from 2009. Congratulations to these CCA swimmers and alumni on their outstanding swims for the 2009 long and short course seasons!
