Grand Prix
Meet a success
Congratulations to
the following six swimmers who qualified to travel to Long Beach to
compete in Toyota Southern California Grand Prix meet: Lauren
Craig, Adam Jorgensen, Kayla Nakamoto, Katie Stover, Jamie Tyrrell,
and Evan Virtue. The group swam fast and did a great job
representing CCA with many swims placing in the top 24. Evan
placed 5th in the 1000 Free, with a time of 9:16.82
which is a new qualifying time for the US Open. Evan’s time
in the 400IM also secured him a new Junior National qualifying
cut. In addition, Adam set a new Sierra Nevada record in
the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:53.85. Great job
swimmers!
